Disinfect the infusion site following the

instructions of the relevant medical personnel.

Ensure that the area of the infusion site is dry

before inserting the subcutaneous needle.

Connect the infusion set to the reservoir.

Hold the infusion set by the wings. Prime the

infusion line manually or use the priming fun-

ction of the pump (Auto). Ensure there are

no air bubbles in the infusion line.

When you are priming the infusion line and

are preparing to insert the needle below the

skin, hold the set with the needle pointing

downwards to ensure that none of the drugs

can come into contact with the protecting

adhesive paper.

Remove the protective adhesive paper.
